Our kitchen sees a lot of use. With a family of 10 and eight growing children, there is always something cooking, baking, or rising on the counter. I cook most of our meals from scratch. Baking bread with freshly milled flour is a regular part of life in our home. Because of that, having a reliable and capable range — like the Induction Hardware range we recently installed — isn’t just a nice feature in our kitchen. It’s a necessity.
During our recent kitchen renovation, I spent a lot of time researching different ranges and ventilation options for our kitchen. I needed something that could keep up with the amount of cooking and baking that happens in our home daily. After looking at many options, I decided on the 48-inch Induction Hardware range along with the Induction Hardware range hood. Together they have quickly become the heart of our new kitchen.
I’ve only used the range for a couple of weeks, but I wanted to share my first impressions. If you are considering purchasing an Induction Hardware range, I’m also excited to share that I have a coupon code available for my readers that can be used for a discount.
In this post I’ll share why I chose induction cooking, why I decided on Induction Hardware, and my early thoughts after using the range daily in a busy kitchen that feeds a large family.

Below, I’ll share why I chose an induction range, why I ultimately decided on Induction Hardware, and my first impressions after using the range daily in our home.
Why I Chose an Induction Range
When we began planning our kitchen renovation, one of the biggest decisions I needed to make was what type of range to install. I had always cooked on traditional electric ranges in the past, but I started researching induction cooking and quickly became interested in the benefits it offers.
One of the things that stood out to me most was the speed and precision of induction cooking. Because induction heats the cookware directly instead of heating the cooktop surface first, it can bring water to a boil much faster and allows for very responsive temperature control. For someone who cooks multiple meals a day and spends a lot of time baking, that kind of control can make a big difference in the kitchen.
Safety was another reason induction appealed to me. With eight children in the home, our kitchen is often busy, and I appreciated that induction cooktops only heat when a compatible pot or pan is on the surface. The cooktop itself doesn’t stay hot the same way traditional electric burners do, which gives me extra peace of mind in a busy household.
I also liked the idea of having a cooktop that is easier to keep clean. Since the surface doesn’t get extremely hot, spills are less likely to burn onto the cooktop, which makes cleanup much simpler after cooking meals or baking throughout the day.
After learning more about how induction works and seeing how many home cooks and professional kitchens are beginning to move in that direction, I felt confident that an induction range would be a great fit for our kitchen.
Why I Chose the Induction Hardware 48-inch Range
After deciding on an induction range, I started looking closely at the different brands available. Since our kitchen is used heavily, I wanted something that was powerful and practical for a busy household.
One of the first things that drew me to the Induction Hardware range was the size. The 48-inch range provides a generous cooking surface, which is incredibly helpful when preparing meals for a large family. With seven burners, I can have multiple pots going at once without feeling cramped for space on the cooktop.
The oven capacity was another big factor for me. Because I bake frequently, having two spacious ovens makes it much easier to manage multiple dishes at once.

I also appreciated the thoughtful features that come with the range. The proofing function, which allows the oven to maintain temperatures between 80°F and 120°F, is particularly helpful for bread baking. It creates a consistent environment for dough to rise, which is something I know many home bakers will appreciate.

Another feature that stood out to me was the pizza mode, which can reach temperatures up to 660°F. The range even comes with pizza stones for each oven. This makes it easy to bake homemade pizza at high temperatures just like a pizza oven.

The range also includes thermometer probes for each oven, air fryer racks, and easy glide racks. These details may seem small, but when you cook and bake as often as I do, they make a noticeable difference.
Finally, I felt that the price point for the Induction Hardware range was very reasonable. The lifetime warranty gave me additional confidence in choosing this range. I also had a great experience with their customer service.
My First Impressions After Two Weeks of Cooking and Baking
Although I’ve only been using the Induction Hardware range for a couple of weeks, it has already been getting a lot of use in our kitchen. With a family of ten, I cook multiple meals a day and bake frequently. So a range in our home doesn’t sit idle for very long.
One of the first things I noticed was how evenly the burners heat the pan. With my old electric range, I often had issues where food would cook unevenly. For example, when cooking bacon, the pieces around the edges of the pan would cook differently than the pieces in the center. I haven’t experienced that issue with this range. The heat distribution across the pan has been very even.
The temperature control has also been excellent. When I adjust the heat level, the change happens within seconds. That level of responsiveness makes it much easier to control cooking temperatures, especially when switching from high heat to a simmer. Water also comes to a boil very quickly, which has been helpful when preparing meals for a large family.
Baking
As for the oven, I’ve noticed that it seals very well and holds moisture inside the oven cavity. Because of that, I adjust how I bake certain things in order to get the level of browning I want. I’ve found that using the convection modes helps with that. Once I started making those adjustments, the results have been great.

Another thing I appreciate is that foods don’t burn on the bottom, even when baking on the lower rack. Since the heating element on the bottom isn’t exposed, the heat feels much more balanced when baking.
The two ovens have also been incredibly helpful in our busy kitchen. Being able to bake two different things at the same time makes meal preparation much easier. I also love that I can have dough proofing in one oven while something else is baking in the other. With how much bread baking happens in our home, that has already been a very helpful feature. I also look forward to eventually using the dehydrator mode as well.
Final Thoughts
So far, I’ve really enjoyed using the Induction Hardware range in our kitchen. With the amount of cooking that happens in our home, it was important for me to choose a range that could high demands. Between the large 48-inch cooktop, the seven burners, and the two spacious ovens, it has already proven to be a great fit for our family.
I’ve especially appreciated the even heat from the induction burners, the responsive temperature control, and the versatility the ovens offer for baking, proofing dough, and preparing multiple dishes at the same time. Features like the proofing function, pizza mode, and dehydrator mode make it a range that can do much more than just basic cooking.
Since I’ve only been using the range for a couple of weeks, I’m sure I’ll continue learning more about all the ways it can be used in our kitchen. But so far, it has been a wonderful addition to our newly renovated space.
